On October 7th, Dr. Elizabeth Rogers, University of Minnesota Assistant Professor, will present “Engaging Minority Youth in Type 2 Diabetes Prevention Through a Participatory, Spoken-Word Public Health Literacy Campaign.” She will discuss The Bigger Picture social marketing campaign, where minority youth poets re-framed the diabetes epidemic through spoken-word videos.
